In this fresh summer, you may think of changing the atmosphere of your house and try to be a painter. But if you don't know how to begin, today I have some advice to help you paint your house in your own style. Things to Consider: Preparation - Make a list of paints and equipment you need for painting; plan and organize before you get started. - Wear useless clothes that fit you well so you are more comfortable when you work. - Remove any equipment that is not used for painting from the area to protect it from spilled paint. - Clean any dust from any surface that you are going to paint. - Stick masking tape on door frames, windows, doorknobs, plugs and switches before you start. Take off the masking tape when the paint is half dry. If the paint is dry, use a knife to cut off the line of masking tape, then pull it off to prevent the paint from chipping or peeling off. - To paint a PVC water pipe, use sandpaper to rub it and make it rough. - Try to understand every instruction that is included with the paint. Painting - Use suitable equipment for the paint you are using. - Sir the paint in the can before painting and during painting. - To paint, dip the brush only halfway into the paint, then sweep the paint away from the brush. - Paint the ceiling first to prevent the paint from dripping while you work. - Paint the wall from left to right and top to bottom so that you won't spend as much time moving the ladder and climbing up and down. - If you must paint outside, paint the shady side of the house first because it's better to work in the shade. Also, the paint will need more time to dry. - If you use many cans of the same color, you should mix them together before you begin to paint. - Wait until the color is dry, then start painting again. There is no need to hurry. - You will work better if you enjoy what you are doing. Caution - If you paint a door frame, don't close the door before the paint is dry. - Don't paint in unusual weather such as rain or excessive sunlight - If you paint inside a house, open the doors and windows for ventilation of the paint fumes. After Painting - Clean your hands after work with paint solvent. - If you use old paint, filter it first. - If you are going to stick on wallpaper, wait until the paint is dry. - How is it? It is not too hard, is it? But if you still have any questions, contact me by E-mail.
